We at NuYo Frozen Yogurt are committed to being environmentally responsible, and have adopted a number of eco-friendly practices in order to reduce our impact on the environment as much as possible.
Our cups are made from paper and spoons are made from renewable, earth-friendly resources that are 100% compostable.
Our napkins are chlorine-free and made from 100% recycled material.
We strive to purchase locally-grown fruits as seasonal and economic conditions allow.
We make a conscious effort to minimize waste by recycling. While our spoons are compostable, we have been unable to find a local compost yard that can handle our needs. However, we are in constant search of a program that will allow us to compost the spoons we provide. Each of the cities in which our shops are located have assured us they are working on a composting solution.
We use energy-efficient light bulbs to keep energy consumption to a minimum.
Our frozen yogurt machines and other appliances utilize the latest energy-efficient technologies and are non-ozone depleting.
We use only non-toxic, biodegradable cleaning supplies that contain no ammonia or bleach.
If you have any questions about NuYo Frozen Yogurt’s impact on the environment or would like to suggest ways in which we improve our eco-friendly practices, please email us at info@nuyofrozenyogurt.com.
